CARGO :: RESEARCH
Sice 2002, we have been working in Design Theory, using high-performace computing (HPC), a.k.a. Supercomputing, meta-heuristics and tools from many other areas, summarized in this ROADMAP: Ilias Roadmap
CARGO was formed in May 2002. Our main research includes topics such as Gröbner Bases, Implicitization and Parameterization of Algebraic Curves and Surfaces, Enumerating Regular Mixed-Cell Configurations, Symmetric Polynomials, Computational Mathematics in Statistics, and many other topics in computational algebra. Our computer programs are usually developed using C, C++, Maple, and Matlab. For certain mathematical problems, we also write programs using packages such as Porta, Singular, TOPCOM, and Macaulay 2.
